DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai airport, our guide will warmly welcome you. We have made arrangements for dedicated drivers who will transport you to your hotel in Hanoi. After completing the check-in process, you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L)
Embark on a comprehensive full-day tour that showcases the highlights of Hanoi. The itinerary includes visits to prominent sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which encompasses the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his stilt house, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Temple of Literature, the country’s first national university dating back to the 11th century, and gain insights into Buddhist practices at a peaceful lakeside pagoda. Additionally, a visit to the renowned Ethnology Museum is included in the tour.
Returning to the Old Quarter, you will traverse the charming narrow streets that were historically renowned for their specialized craft-making guilds. These streets, still bearing names associated with their products or locations, provide a glimpse into Hanoi’s vibrant artisanal heritage.

DAY 3: NINH BINH: HOA LU – TAM COC FULL DAY TRIP (B/L)
Our dedicated guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and we will begin our journey towards Hoa Lu, which will take approximately 2 hours.
Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the historic capital of Vietnam and visit the renowned ancient temples of the Le and Dinh Dynasties, known for their rich historical significance.
Following our visit to Hoa Lu, our driver will transport you to Tam Coc, where a delightful lunch will be served around 12:30 PM.
After enjoying your meal, you will embark on a captivating boat trip, allowing you to witness the magnificent beauty of the karst formations as you glide along their bases and venture into the enchanting caves that have been carved through the limestone.
To further immerse yourself in the surrounding natural splendor, you will have the chance to embark on a scenic cycling excursion. Pedaling along tranquil roads, you will traverse through charming villages, picturesque rice fields, meandering rivers, and imposing rocky outcrops, covering a distance of approximately 5 kilometers in the Tam Coc – Bich Dong area.

DAY 4: NINH BINH – HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will commence our journey to the captivating Halong Bay, with a pick-up time at approximately 8:00 am. Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome aboard the boat, where a delectable lunch will be served as you embark on a scenic cruise through the bay. The specific activities included in the itinerary will depend on the cruise you choose, but typically, you can expect a visit to the Sung Sot Cave, the opportunity for kayaking (available as an additional option on most boats, while some include it as part of the package), swimming in the crystal-clear waters, and taking in the breathtaking landscapes or simply relaxing on the sun deck. As the day comes to a close, a delightful dinner will be served onboard, allowing you to indulge in a sumptuous meal while surrounded by the starry night sky. You will have the pleasure of spending the night on the boat, creating a memorable experience in this enchanting location.
DAY 5: HALONG – HANOI – TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B/BR/D)
Embrace the tranquil ambiance as the gentle sounds of waves, the soothing breeze, and the crisp, refreshing air welcome you to a new day on the bay. Savor a delightful breakfast served on board the vessel.
After this relaxing start, a morning expedition to explore the captivating limestone caves awaits you, promising a deeper connection with the natural wonders of Halong Bay.
Returning to the boat, you’ll have one more opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of Halong Bay as the vessel sails back to the port. By 11:30 AM, the boat will have docked, and your driver will be there to transport you back to Hanoi.
Once in Hanoi, you’ll have the chance to take a brief rest at a modest hotel near the train station. Our crew will then accompany you to your cabin on the train for your overnight journey to Lao Cai.
DAY 6: SAPA ARRIVAL – CAT CAT VILLAGE WALKING TOUR (B/L)
You will reach Lao Cai train station at approximately 6 am, where you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel in Sapa, which is about a 1-hour drive away. Upon arrival in Sapa, you can enjoy a satisfying breakfast before embarking on an enjoyable walking tour to the captivating hill tribe village of Cat Cat, inhabited by the H’mong minority people. This excursion will provide you with the opportunity to engage in cultural interactions with the local families residing in the area. Afterward, you will return to Sapa around noon. Upon arrival, you can proceed with the check-in process at your hotel (early check in based on hotel availability). You will then take rest and relax at the hotel, preparing for a comfortable overnight stay in Sapa.
DAY 7: SAPA – LAO CHAI/TA VAN – NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI (B/L)
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, it’s time to embark on today’s itinerary. The day begins with a visit to the bustling daily wet market in Sapa, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and observe the local trade and commerce. Following this, you will embark on a thrilling 3-4 hour trek through the picturesque Muong Hoa valley. As you traverse the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, inhabited by the H’mong and Dzao ethnic groups respectively, you will be captivated by the awe-inspiring scenery. The walking tour will be accompanied by local tribal people, ensuring an authentic and immersive experience.
After an adventurous morning, take a well-deserved break and indulge in some mouth-watering cuisine at a local restaurant. Once refreshed, you will be transported back to Sapa town in a waiting vehicle.
You will have some free time to explore Sapa at your leisure before your transfer to the train station, scheduled for approximately 5 pm. There, you will board the night train bound for Hanoi, where you will spend the night onboard, allowing you to rest and rejuvenate for the journey ahead.
DAY 8: HANOI ARRIVAL – FLY TO HUE (B)
This morning, arrive at the Hanoi railway station, where our driver will be waiting to transport you to the airport to catch an early flight to Hue. Hue is a captivating city in Central Vietnam, renowned for its imperial grandeur and architectural splendor, offering a glimpse into Vietnam’s illustrious past.
Upon arrival in Hue, our tour guide and driver will be there to greet you and take you to your hotel. After checking in, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind before our team returns to escort you to an exquisite, royal-style dinner showcasing the delectable and sophisticated cuisine that Hue is celebrated for.
Retire for the night at your hotel, fully immersed in the cultural richness and regal atmosphere of this historic Vietnamese city.
DAY 9: HUE CITY TOUR (B/L)
Start your day by enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and then prepare for a captivating exploration of the Citadel, a former Imperial City filled with remarkable royal monuments. Begin your day by treating yourself to a delectable breakfast, providing you with the energy for a half-day private tour to the captivating My Son. In the afternoon, you have the freedom to spend your leisure time as you please. You can choose to relax and unwind on the beach, indulging in the tranquility of the coastal surroundings. DAY 12: HOI AN – FLY TO HO CHI MINH (B)
Once you have enjoyed a satisfying breakfast, you will be transferred to Da Nang in preparation for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, you can proceed with the check-in process at your hotel. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 13: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA (B/L)
Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 14: HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE (B)
Following a relaxed and leisurely breakfast, you are free to engage in some last-minute shopping or simply wait until your departure flight. Take advantage of this time to purchase any final souvenirs or mementos to commemorate your trip. When the designated transfer time arrives, our team will assist you in reaching the airport for your onward journey.
